Tucking myself into hiding again, because every mental and physical health issue has come up at once, and I’m not okay. (I can barely walk again, and it’s partially severe fibro pain and partially my right knee being in agony again - plus my heel on my left foot has been sore? So walking is pain. Plus fibro pain set off by crocheting, fibro pain in general, insomnia, stomach issues - I think I might have a stomach flu. I’m also really weak. Plus depression and anxiety, what’s new.)
Keep thinking, “no one wants you” and then I’m mentally smacking myself ‘cos I can easily name tons of people who do care? Brain, stop lyin’.
Still, feeling reclusive again. Gonna read books, work on finishing one of my stupid story drafts, and crochet a bunch of stuff as health allows.
Sorry for always being a pretty dumb friend. (That’s why my brain is like “people hate you” - ‘cos damn I’m insufficient as a friend, I can’t imagine why they don’t.)

Today is my mom’s birthday and so we went out to eat. It was at a buffet so when I came back to the table before anyone else, JUST as I was getting ready to sit down, an old lady just reached behind and scoots our walkers between the chairs to pin mine to the table. I couldn’t sit down. No one at her table gave a damn, and I was frozen in frustration and confusion when our waitress comes rushing over and moves it out of the way super politely like a fucking goddess ;^;
Then my dad was ready to leave without tipping so I pointed out that I would cos WTF (he thinks $2 is generous and lately claims that min wage is enough and the whole $2.15 an hour for wait staff is a lie) so he finally put down some money but damn… wait staff are so underappreciated and they were beyond nice and constantly had drinks refilled without being asked
Anyway… thank you, bless you, I appreciate you, waitress!
I had a dream where there were two Tales series towns in the U.S., set up by fans. Both of them were over water, too, which I can’t figure out how that worked for either of them. One was in NW Oregon, the other somewhere in the Ozarks in Missouri (so south).
And you could show up in cosplay, there were mock battles, people played the games, you could visit hotels, the buildings played Tales music (depending on the song, this was arguably not their best choice), eat food from the games…
I went to the one in Missouri because I couldn’t go to the one in Oregon, and it was gonna cost me like $55 in admissions to go to the one in Oregon. (Covered hotel, food, etc. though!)
You could buy merch, too. It was a good place to meet up with friends and get a ton of stuff usually not available to people in the U.S. unless they went to Japan or had a proxy.
Everyone has that one video game they played 10+ times and could play it 10 times more because it’s that good and amazing and?words can’t explain
